College Sport Wellington is one of a number of sporting organisations unhappy with the cost of using Wellington City Council's sports facilities and grounds.

13 City Councillors promised to undertake a review into sports facility fees before last year's Local Body Elections, but Mayor Tory Whanau subsequently threw out plans to undertake a review.

However after further public comments from local sporting bodies, Mayor Whanau has now u-turned and ordered a review.

College Sport Wellington CEO Bryan Dickinson joined Adam Cooper to speak about the issue, and explain the impact high fees have on kids playing sport.
