The top four men's seeds have played out a pair of epic semifinals at the Australian Tennis Open.

10-time champion Novak Djokovic will meet number one seed Carlos Alcaraz in the decider after both prevailed in five sets.

Djokovic wrapped up his win over second seed and two-time defending champion Jannik Sinner at 1.30am local time, while earlier on, Alcaraz needed five hours and 27 minutes to outlast third seed Alexander Zverev.

Tennis Correspondent Craig Gabriel told Piney it was incredible to see.

After the match Alcaraz says he never gives up, and Gabriel says that was certainly telling in that match.
