There are seven sub-clusters - the two largest are Birkdale, with 68 and Mangere Church with 237 cases.
All others have fewer than 20 infections.
Thirty-four people are in hospital - 32 are stable, and two are stable but in ICU.
Grant Robertson says that these numbers are "cause for cautious optimism."
