TV One Fair Go reporter Anna Burns Frances and TV presenter Petra Bagust join the Weekend Collective panel to discuss the issues making the news headlines.

A taskforce is proposing the biggest shake-up in the education system for 30 years, removing most of the powers currently held by school boards of trustees. Does our education system need a radical change up, or is it fine just the way it currently is?

Many pundits were not expecting the Blackcaps, who often struggle in UAE conditions, to come out on top against a strong Pakistan side. But that is exactly what they have done. From superb batting performances by Kane Williamson, to the dazzling bowling from newcomer Ajaza Patel, the Blackcaps come away from this test series with plenty of confidence and new talent for the future. Can anything beat the drama of Test Cricket?

The National Party leader Simon Bridges was kicked out of question time in parliament earlier this week after muttering "here comes the protection" when Trevor Mallard interjected during a question to the Prime Minister. Does bridges have a point, or did he get the deserved treatment?
