Forty years ago, a young South Auckland singer called Tina Cross took out one of the most revered pop music titles of the time - The Pacific Song Contest.
The winning song – Nothing But Dreams - written by long-time collaborator Carl Doy launched the talented teenager into the spotlight.
The duo will celebrate the legacy of their victory in two concerts in Auckland and Wellington this month.
Tina Cross talks to Andrew Dickens about the highlights of her 40 year career.
