Guns N’ Roses will be arriving in Auckland's Eden Park to play on December 10th- but they've cut one tradition before the big concert.

Traditionally, lead singer Axl Rose would throw a microphone into the audience at the end of every concert, but this concert staple may be over for good.

Earlier this week, a woman was injured when a microphone hit her on the nose during their Adelaide concert. The woman suffered from bruising to her face and was in a state of shock afterwards.

Steve Newall, flicks.co.nz editor confirms that Axl Rose has officially tweeted that he will no longer throw microphones into the audience after hearing about this incident.
