Multi-award-winning journalist Robert Fisk had his career path set in motion as a 12-year-old watching the Alfred Hitchcock movie ‘Foreign Correspondent’.
He’s now 73 and has spent over 40 years based in Beirut as a Middle East Correspondent for both The Times and The Independent.
He has been on the ground, on the frontline, covering some of the most violent and divisive conflicts in the world.
Now Robert’s work and career is the subject of a new documentary showing this year as part of Doc Edge. It is called This is Not a Movie directed by Canadian Yung Chang.
Fisk joined Francesca Rudkin to discuss the new documentary and his lengthy career.
