Cirque du Soleil is back- with the daring acrobatics being performed on ice skates.

After wrapping up a well-received Christchurch season, Cirque du Soleil Crystal promises to amaze Aucklanders with their unique mesh of acrobatics and theatre on ice.

Cirque du Soleil Artistic Director Rob Tannion says working on this project was an amazing experience.

"The acrobats and the skaters are totally outstanding, Crystal really is a marvel- they've created such a beautiful experience."
