For over 25 years, English actor David Suchet graced our screens as Agatha Christie’s Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, appearing in all 74 episodes of the small screen adaptions of the famous writer's novels and short stories.

His television, film and stage credits are extensive, having appeared in UK show like The Life of Freud, Great Expectations and Dr Who.

An Emmy award winner as well as a nominee for multiple Olivier awards, BAFTAS and a Tony Award, David was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire for services to acting in 2002. In 2011, he was upgraded to Commander of the Order of the British Empire.

David is coming to New Zealand early next year with his stage show Poirot and More: A Retrospective.
