Plenty of miracle cures have been touted in recent years - but using frozen potatoes to fix your haemorrhoids is the latest one that doctors have had to come out again. 

It's been reported that people have been rectally inserting potatoes as a means of curing haemorrhoids and piles, believing the coldness and the acidity of the potatoes will help with your problem - but doctors have said that there is no medical evidence that it works.

Nanogirl Michelle Dickinson joined Francesca Rudkin to discuss why this silly story says something serious about people getting their embarrassing problems treated.
