Ear tickling therapy could help to delay age related disease.

New research from the UK used an ear tickling technique called transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation to stimulate the body's nervous system through the vagus nerve.

The vagus nerve transmits information from the brain to organs around the body such as the heart and the lungs.

As we age the balance of the body's nervous system goes awry which can make people more prone to diseases including heart problems and hypertension.

The study carried out 15 minutes of ear tickling for two weeks and the results showed positive results around reducing symptoms of some of these diseases.
