There is an online petition started by some travel agents asking for the government to extend the wage subsidy to them. Their reasons being that they are still working chasing refunds and issuing credits for no pay and there are still hundreds of customers still needing them.

1. The agents are still chasing and processing hundreds of refunds and credits for their customers

2. They have laid off staff and in many cases given up their building rents and leases

3. They don’t want to/can’t abandon their clients who need them to get their money back

4. They are working without pay

Travel blogger Megan Singleton joined Francesca Rudkin to explain what the petition means for travellers.
