Jaz Coleman: musician, composer, singer, songwriter and record producer.
He’s the founder of English post punk band Killing Joke, a New Zealand resident living a few months of the year on Great Barrier Island, and has made a significant contribution to New Zealand’s music scene.
Celebrating 40 years as the lead singer of Killing Joke, Jaz has released a new album Magna Invocatio: A Gnostic Mass for Choir and Orchestra Inspired By the Sublime Music of Killing Joke.
The album is made alongside Russia’s oldest orchestra, the St Petersburg Philharmonic.Â
