Open Side by Sam Warburton - For all fans of Andre Agassis’s Open – this is an Open for rugby. I have no real interest in rugby and know very little about it but I LOVED this book. Sam Warburton was a Welsh rugby player, Captain of that team, and Captain for both the 2013 Lions tour of Australia and then again for the 2017 Lions tour to New Zealand. I’ve never read anything so utterly compelling about what it’s actually like to train and play rugby at that level. It’s really wonderful.

Cold Storage by David Koepp - A thriller, about a Pentagon bioterror operative who’s sent to investigate a suspected biochemical attack, but finds something far far worse. Likely to appeal to fans of Michael Crichton’s novels.
