Agent Running in the Field – John le Carre. He’s still writing at the age of 88, and still has a lot to say – set in London in 2018, Agent Running in the Field follows a twenty-six year old solitary figure who, in a desperate attempt to resist the political turbulence swirling around him, makes connections that will take him down a dangerous path. You can tell that le Carre is no fan of BREXIT, or the state the modern world finds itself in.Â
Acid for the Children by Flea – memoir from the bass player from Red Hot Chili Peppers. Is about his childhood and growing up – the book actually ends just at the time the Chilis are starting to become something, and it’s quite a story. Amazing what some kids survive and overcome, I loved it.
