Bafta Award winner Jo Brand is one of the UKs most loved comedians, an actress, author and now film writer.
Brand first tested her writing chops with medical comedy Getting On, and is well-known for her appearances on panel shows and competitions such as QI and Taskmaster.
Now she has written her first film, The More You Ignore Me. A film adapted from her novel of the same name, Brand stars in the movie as well as writing and executive producing it.
It’s out in New Zealand cinemas now, and Brand joined Francesca Rudkin to discuss adapting her own work for the big screen.
