Figures reveal why children in NZ don't play sport

Figures show that a competitive nature of sports is pushing New Zealand kids out of exercise.

50 per cent of children don't play any form in sports. 70 per cent of those figures show that kids had played sport but had dropped out. 

Biomechanist Greg Pain joined Andrew Dickens to talk about the disconnect between the parents and coaches and the children themselves that is contributing to the low turnout.
