It's well known eating a balanced diet, getting enough sleep and exercising regularly are key to protecting health and lifespan. 

Regular exercise is linked to strengthening of bones, improved mood and reducing the impact of chronic illnesses including cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

Naturopath and wellness expert Erin O'Hara says frequent and consistent exercise- between 20 and 40 minute per day- is linked to a longer lifespan.
