Principals of some Auckland schools have spoken out against proposed changes to out of zone enrolments.
In particular, they are concerned with the Ministry of Educations review into whether children of former pupils continue to get out of zone priority.
Westlake Boys High School principal David Ferguson has addressed his concerns to parents of his school. He told Francesca Rudkin he doesn't think the current system needs to be changed.
'It's probably in line with some of the other things that are being reviewed at the moment, there's a lot of things up in the air as education is concerned."
