Has a line been crossed in politics that will see more of its more shadowy secrets come to light?

That's what Newstalk ZB political reporter Alex Mason suspects after a murky week at the Beehive.

She told Francesca Rudkin there's a lot that goes on in Parliament that's simply not talked about.

Alex Mason says that's changed this week.

"Politics has crossed a line, and that sort of thing is being brought into the public arena. But just how much is out there, we'll have to wait until someone does lift the bed sheets to find out."
