Kiwi filmmaker Roseanne Liang has signed up for her next gig, working alongside the director of Deadpool 2.

Liang, best known for directing My Wedding and Other Secrets, has been set to adapt a feature length version of her short film, Do No Harm.

Deadline.com describes the acclaimed short as being about a surgeon in Chinatown who must betray her Hippocratic oath in order to save her love interest during a violent gang war.

The project will be produced by David Leith, who directed Atomic Blonde and Deadpool 2.
