The 2026 Winter Olympics are beginning. 

It kicked off with the opening ceremony earlier this morning, snowboarder Zoi Sadowski-Synnott and Freeski athlete Ben Barclay selected as the flagbearers for New Zealand.  

New Zealand’s Chef de Mission Marty Toomey joined D’Arcy Waldegrave for a chat heading into the Games.
