The Warriors finally have what they've been missing throughout the 2021 NRL season - experience.

Midseason signings Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Chad Townsend have both been named to start against the Dragons on Friday night in Gosford.

Watene-Zelezniak has played 143 NRL matches, while Townsend's notched up 187.

Coach Nathan Brown told D'Arcy Waldegrave their experience will be needed.

"You'd like to think their experience is going to take away from the lack of combinations."

He says they've lost a few tight games, and they need to be more consistent.

"I suppose when you keep losing close games, you lose them for a reason, and we really need to turn that around.

"Hopefully that little bit of added experience and taking some of that youth out of our side, will help in tight situation."

Centre Euan Aitken and loose forward Josh Curran are unavailable for the next two weeks due to isolation, meanwhile young fullback Reece Walsh is out for Friday's match with a hamstring injury.
