Do the All Blacks need a statement game this weekend against Fiji?

The first two tests of the year have seen a 102 win over Tonga followed by a comfortable winning margin that belies the intense challenge that Fiji gave Ian Foster's side.

Former All Blacks coach John Hart told D’Arcy Waldegrave that the Fijians surprised everyone by coming out with a physicality people weren’t expecting.

However, he thinks the All Blacks will step up to another level.

"For the All Blacks to win, I don't think they can rely on being physically better."

Hart says that because there is no game between this weekend and the Bledisloe Cup, the side will be using this weekend's test as a way to prepare for that series - and won't be as experimental.
