Drug Detection Agency applauds drug driving testing, but also has questions

Applause for Government plans to introduce random roadside testing, but also questions.

Legislation will go through Parliament next year to allow police to instantly suspend drug drivers for 12 hours, and impose a fine.

Drug Detection Agency C-E-O Kirk Hardy told Simon and Phil drug testing is getting faster, the challenge will be deciding how many drugs to test and what type. 

He says a test for six drugs will take 8 to 10 minutes to activate properly.
