The issues best-selling author Jodi Picoult tackles read more like a list of talkback topics than the stuff of bestselling novels. The death penalty, stem cell research, the right to die - they’ve all been used by the American author. 
 
Perhaps her most famous book is My Sister’s Keeper, about a child conceived to be a donor to her ill sister, which was later made into a movie.
