The debut studio album from Georgia Lines, ‘The Rose of Jericho’ is a ten-track album touching on grief, loss, heartache, as well as joy and lightness.Â
The album is named for a plant that has come to symbolise rebirth and hope due to its seemingly magical ability to come back to life. Â
She told RNZ that the last few years have left her feeling like a Rose of Jericho herself.Â
"I am [also] in the process of coming back to life, remembering things that were lost and all of the things associated with that … my record was the rose inside."Â
