After a very successful international career in banking, Tauranga MP Sam Uffindell had a challenging entry to politics after bullying claims arose just a week after his maiden speech in Parliament. 

The dust has well and truly settled now as he prepares to hold the seat in this year’s election. So who is he and why did he want to get into politics?
