Team New Zealand believe their buildup away from Bermuda won't hurt their chances in the America's Cup.

They will be the last syndicate to set up base on the island when their sailors leave New Zealand tonight.

Defending champions Oracle have been in Bermuda for two years.

Olympic champion sailor Blair Tuke told Mike Hosking staying in Auckland has allowed them to learn a lot about their boat out on the water.

He said they've had a great summer in New Zealand, compared to Bermuda where the corresponding months are usually too bad to get out on the water.

Their deconstructed AC50 boat will follow the team to Bermuda at the weekend.

Watch above as Peter Burling and Blair Tuke join Mike Hosking in studio.
