When Warriors club legend Simon Mannering retired from rugby league earlier this year, many pundits and commentators predicted the workhorse would go down as one of the greatest players to ever play for the Penrose based club.
Mannering played 301 NRL matches for the Warriors and 45 tests for the Kiwis over his career.
When asked by Mike Hosking if he had any regrets about retiring, he explained he definitely doesn't miss the physical side of the game.
"It confirms to me that I made the right decision. I am starting to enjoy the simple things in life which you miss when you are a professional athlete."
Simon Mannering's new book 'Warrior' is out now.
