At the end of each week, Mike Hosking takes you through the big-ticket items and lets you know what he makes of it all.

Level 2: 6/10

"Because it isn't Level 4.

But as the café in Wellington so clearly showed yesterday lockdowns might keep the hospitals functioning, but the same can't be said for business."

Vaccines: 7/10

"At last, a problem solved.

Way too late, of course, but we got there.

Let's line up and get this mess sorted."

Phil Twyford: 1/10

"Because by letting liars and crooks have residency all he does is remind us what a doofus he is."

James Shaw's Trip to COP26: 0/10

"He's a sneering snob, and a hypocrite to boot.

Sydney and the bubble were for shoppers he said on this show, before he packed his bag settled back into the business class seat we paid for, to go waste his time yet again at a hot air gab fest that will achieve nothing."

The CRL Hardship Fund: 7/10

"Should have been done yonks ago,  but got something sorted.

I hope it makes a material difference."

Dairy Sector: 9/10

"The auction, the farm, and gate forecasts are all good new stories.

Thank god for the farmer and thank god for those who are bankrolling this nation."

Terror Laws: 1/10

"The expert quoted in the news said it all, Christchurch was the wake-up call.

We didn’t wake up."

The All Blacks: 8/10

"Good way to start Ian Foster's new contract.

And given the missing seniors a good indication of our seemingly endless depth."

The Warriors 2/10

"About the opposite of the All Blacks."

Liam Lawson: 9/10

"Won both DTM races last weekend. it's never been done.

Formula One is surely a starter in 2022."
