Could the next female astronaut come out of New Zealand?

There is an upcoming event aimed at getting female students into stem careers is being held in Auckland.

During the event you'll be able to take a ride across Mars with Buzz Aldrin and tour NASA HQ through the use of virtual technology.

It has been set up with the help of NASA and will also feature keynote speaker and the Director of Enterprise for Microsoft NZ Vanessa Sorenson who spoke to Mike Hosking.
