The treatment of those with foetal alcohol spectrum disorder in our court system is being put under the microscope. A forum hosted by Alcohol Healthwatch will be held in Auckland today and will boast speakers from New Zealand and overseas. Youth with foetal alcohol spectrum disorder are found to be 19 times more likely to get in trouble with the law. Neuropsychologist Valerie McGinn will be speaking at the forum and joins Mike Hosking to discuss.
