Trevor Noah is a name that's become synonymous with US politics.

The comedian came to major prominence in 2015 after taking over The Daily Show from long time host Jon Stewart.

Noah is also a writer, with his memoir Born a Crime becoming a best seller.

Now he's adapted that bestseller into a book for young readers.

Noah joined Mike Hosking to discuss his childhood and how he rose up from humble beginnings in South Africa.
