National's new leader says the party doesn't have time for factions in every corner to be licking their wounds.
Todd Muller rolled Simon Bridges on Friday.
He's reshuffled his cabinet and will meet caucus for the first time at 10am.
Muller told Mike Hosking messages from colleagues and the public have been positive.
"As Simon Bridges said himself yesterday, he wants to work hard for the National Party because we have an opportunity collectively to pull of an historic victory.
"In fact, the country is desperately needing of us to do so."
