A bit of encouraging news on the "saving for retirement" front.

The latest ASB KiwiSaver Survey reveals only 22 per cent of people are saving more than 10 per cent of their income.

ASB Head of KiwiSaver, Aidan Vince, says while the majority of respondents say they aren't saving enough for retirement, most people are saving more than they think.

He says many don't take into account what their employer contributes to KiwiSaver.
