New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian is the centre of Australian political drama currently, after she revealed a shocking five year relationship with former MP Daryl Maguire which she kept secret.
Maguire is under investigation for allegedly using political influence in business deals.
Berejiklian says yesterday was one of the toughest days of her life, and she "stuffed up".
Australian correspondent Steve Price told Mike Hosking it is hard to see the Premier survive.
"No one had ever heard of this bloke until yesterday really... incredibly Gladys Berejiklian, she continued this relationship with this bloke ever though she had to sack him from her own party.
"It is really embarrassing for someone who I would classify as a friend of mine."
Meanwhile, Victoria's Head of Premier and Cabinet Chris Eccles has been forced to resign, after a review of his telephone records found he spoke to the state's Police Commissioner on the day private security guards were brought into quarantine hotels.
