Auckland primary schools are calling for clarity around what measures they need to put in place when children go back to school.

Education Minister Chris Hipkins is expected to announce a plan today to get Auckland students back into the classroom.

Auckland Primary Principals' Association president, Stephen Lethbridge, told Mike Hosking schools want clear sign posts about the conditions they need to put in place to reopen safely, such as air quality.

“You know, there’s a whole lot of other things like any additional measures around, spacing, distancing, masking, any of those things. Things that have changed since the last time.”
