MP Tracey Martin was tasked with negotiating abortion law reform with the Labour Party.
But NZ First MPs have now suggested planned reforms should go to a binding referendum and Winston Peters is not ruling out the possibility.

He says it's one of the party's core philosophies to take it back to the people, so no one should be surprised.
