A spike in sheep milk sales will bring in an extra $250 million dollars to the economy over the next four years.

Forecast growth in a New Zealand Food and Innovation report has given the Spring Sheep Milk company the confidence to open an office in China.

CEO Scottie Chapman told Mike Hosking most of the milk powder goes to Asia and more lately China.

He says they have four farms and will have eight suppliers by next year.
