The BBC has a challenge in ensuring it doesn't repeat the mistakes of the past.
The board of the public broadcaster will carry out a review into its editorial policies and governance, following last week's damning report into Martin Bashir's famous interview with Princess Diana.
The report found the BBC journalist used "deceitful behaviour" to land the 1995 interview, and the public broadcaster covered up what it knew.
