There is no sign the Brexit mess will be cleaned up anytime soon.
It has been a tumultuous year in the UK, and experts are warning the tension is far from over.
UK correspondent Rob Liddle told Tim Dower they have reached a stalemate.
He says the controversy will continue right up until March 29 and for a long time after that.
"There is no way out of the crisis at the moment, there is no commons majority for any single eventuality."
The House of Commons will vote on Theresa May's Brexit deal before January the 21st.
