Any bounce back in the aviation industry following the Covid-19 pandemic is expected to be a lot more moderate than first thought.

Emirates has received a Government bail-out, as has Air New Zealand.

CNN's Richard Quest told Mike Hosking companies won't want to spend large amounts of money on travel because they won't know their full economic position.

He says people are also skittish.

"Employees won't want to suddenly sit inches away from somebody else, having spent the last few weeks six feet away from them."
