Labour says the Government's amped up Covid-19 messaging isn't a political campaign, and National agrees.
A refreshed Covid-19 campaign is reminding New Zealanders to "Be Ready" and seek medical advice if they have symptoms.
Speaking to Mike Hosking, Police Minister Stuart Nash refutes claims the 'say yes to the test' is a 'political campaign around election time.'
"This is not a political campaign. There is no doubt about that."
National's Mark Mitchell agrees.
"I think that's it's genuine. We have to keep testing, we're not out of the woods yet."
