More heads are expected to roll over the Labour Party sexual assault allegations.

President Nigel Haworth has resigned, following his handling of the situation and a Queen's Counsel is now investigating.

National Party deputy leader Paula Bennett told Mike Hosking the Labour Party is more interested in the cover-up and how to manage this politically.

She says the Labour Party also needs to bring in some sexual abuse experts.

Bennett says the alleged victims have legal advice and are considering going to police.

"There has been a lot of self-blame and a loss of trust after they didn't receive help."

Newstalk ZB Political editor Barry Soper told Mike Hosking the next place to look is Labour Party headquarters, starting with general secretary Andre Anderson.

Soper says the new appointment is a conflict of interest.

He says there's also a number of other people within Labour's HQ who were in cahoots with Haworth.
