Nigel Farage has slammed Theresa May's Brexit deal as "the worst deal in history", saying she cannot "survive as Prime Minister".
Theresa May is fighting for her political life today after Brexiteers effectively declared war - with Cabinet ministers quitting and an all-out bid to oust her.Â
Speaking with Mike Hosking this morning, Nigel Farage said they are giving away "gargantuan sums of money" for nothing.
"Somewhere between £40 and £60 billion to be trapped inside the European Union's Customs Union, which means we would have to follow all their rules."
"It would be taxation without representation because we will have left the European Commission, the European parliament and have no say whatsoever."Â
He said it also doesn't address any of the major issues like "open door migration" or "taking back control of our fishers".
"It is a complete abject failure of statesmanship and it's all because the EU have had the upper hand in this from day one."
The Prime Minister is braced for a Tory no-confidence vote to be triggered after she vowed to push on with her controversial Brexit plan despite Dominic Raab and Esther McVey quitting accusing her of bowing to EU "blackmail".
Farage said May "will not get this deal through the House of Commons and I don't think she can survive as Prime Minister".
The clear front runners for her replacement are Boris Johnson and David Davis, he said.
"They are the two who are the favourites".
