It's that time to look back on the year that was in 2019 - and it was action packed.
It was a tragic year for this country with the first major terror attack on our shores. 51 people were killed and scores more injured in two Christchurch mosques in March
Just this month, 16 people were killed after the white island volcano erupted, leaving families and the local community devastated.
It was also yet another mammoth year in Kiwi politics. We had the government's flagship policy Kiwibuild totally revamped.
One of political heroes of the year was the Vining family, whose campaign got this country its own cancer agency.
Euthanasia passed through parliament, which means we’ll be getting a vote on it next year alongside a referendum on cannabis.
It was another massive year in sport, and our hearts were broken maybe a few too many times.
First, we had the Black Caps, who got oh so close to world cup glory. Then the All Blacks were bundled out of the Rugby World Cup, leaving new coach Ian Foster with a challenge to overcome.
The Silver Ferns showed the boys how its done, after pulling off one of their greatest triumphs to win their World Cup.
The rest of the world gave us plenty of news. We had the UK election, where Boris Johnson led the conservatives to massive win, while Israel had two elections and still couldn't decide on a Prime Minister.
Earlier in the year, the famous Notre Dame cathedral went up in flames, and Australia had one of its worst fire seasons ever.
Julian Assange was finally arrested, and to round off the year, Donald Trump was impeached in the house.
So that was only a taste of another crazy year - and we had plenty to talk about, both here and overseas. And one thing we know for sure, 2020 is going to be massive - with both a Kiwi and US election to look forward to.
