One part of the country is waking up with a potential Covid outbreak.
Six positive Covid cases has been confirmed in Taranaki's Stratford District overnight.
Health officials say cases are linked and are all members of the same family.
One is in hospital and most are isolating, but anyone in Taranaki with Covid-19 symptoms should get tested.
Stratford Mayor Neil Volzke told Mike Hosking it's too early to say if there will be a lockdown.
“To my knowledge there hasn’t been any discussion around those types of controls at this point.”
Meanwhile, the Far North has moved back to Level Two this morning despite further community cases of Covid-19.
Waikato is recording high case numbers, ahead of a review of restrictions on Monday.
Auckland now has 84 people in hospital, including 10 in ICU.
