Matt Whelan is a Kiwi actor that is making his name overseas.

He made local headlines for his role in the comedy, Go Girls.

Then came the international break - starring in season three of the Netflix show Narcos back in 2017.

Since then he's come home to star in The Luminaries and other Kiwi shows.

Now he's starring in Acorn TV's original, The Sounds, which dropped on the streaming service this week.

Matt Whelan joined Mike Hosking on the show this morning.
