An investigation in to Minneapolis police practices has been launched after former police officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty of murdering George Floyd.
Martin Luther King III told Mike Yardley society expects police to do everything, but the police role was never designed to protect and serve every specific need.
"There should be funding for mental health and other areas that police shouldn't have to attend to."
